From January 27 to 28, Hawaiian Telcom was honored to return as a title sponsor for the Hawaii Esports Invitational, hosted at the HPU Esports Arena. This event saw an exciting competition, as Michigan State University and Stony Brook University competed head-to-head with Hawaii’s top collegiate Esports programs, HPU and UH Mānoa, in the tactical shooter game, Valorant. Four of Hawaii’s top high school Esports teams also showcased their talents in a Valorant competition alongside a variety of open tournaments, providing a platform for the state’s young Esports talent to shine.
Throughout the event, Hawaiian Telcom proudly powered the arena with fiber internet, ensuring a high-speed, lag-free gaming experience for competitors and an uninterrupted stream for fans watching online. A huge congratulations to all the participating teams and students for their outstanding performance!
