Summer has been full of opportunities to connect with our community, celebrate local traditions, and share B. Miyo Art with new faces across Hawaiʻi. From cultural festivals and rodeos to community markets, mahalo to everyone who stopped by our booth, participated in our giveaways, and supported local art. If you missed us, here's a look at where we've been, where we're headed this week, and what's coming up next.

Looking Back: Community Events

July kicked off with a busy schedule across the islands, and we had an incredible time meeting so many of you along the way.

We celebrated Independence Day at the 13th Annual Mōʻiliʻili Summer Fest on Oʻahu, where thousands gathered for Honolulu's largest Bon Dance of the season. The festival featured live entertainment, cultural performances, delicious local food, family-friendly activities, and a beautiful evening honoring the Obon tradition.

On Hawaiʻi Island, we joined the excitement at the Parker Ranch 4th of July Rodeo and Horse Races, where visitors celebrated Hawaiʻi's paniolo heritage through rodeo competitions, horse racing, local food, craft vendors, and keiki activities.

Earlier in the week, we also spent time at Ono Grindz & Mākeke at Wai Kai, a vibrant community market featuring food trucks, local makers, fresh produce, handcrafted goods, and live entertainment.

Over on Maui, we were part of the Makawao Stampede Festival, one of Hawaiʻi's premier rodeo celebrations. The multi-day event showcased talented competitors from across Hawaiʻi, the mainland, and Australia while highlighting unique Hawaiian cowboy traditions, including the iconic Poʻo Wai U cattle roping competition.

We loved meeting each of you and appreciate everyone who stopped by our booths.

Where to Find Us This Week

Our summer events continues with several exciting events across Oʻahu.

On Thursday, July 10, 2026, visit us at Festival Street at Ho'opili from 4:00–8:00 PM. This lively Ewa Beach gathering brings the community together with local businesses, food, entertainment, and a welcoming atmosphere for families and friends.

On Friday, July 11, 2026, we'll be in three locations:

  • Mahalo I Kau Kumu Gift Fair & School Supply Drive at Ka Makana Aliʻi from 11:00 AM–5:00 PM. Help support Hawaiʻi's educators by donating new, unused school supplies for local teachers while shopping with participating vendors.
