Hawai'i designer David Shepard hand draws detailed artistic representations of native Hawaiian plants. Printed onto natural fiber fabrics, art forms the basis for sustainable and meaningful clothing that is made locally in Hawai'i. Each art print for fabric has a story behind it that highlights local flora and fauna and the people and organizations that care for them. David Shepard is the founder of a place-based, mission-driven aloha wear company. His designs are a further extension of his mission of conservation through aloha ’āina. David uses fabric and fashion to tell the story behind the 'why' of aloha ’āina Share this article: - [Tweet](https://twitter.com/share) [Email](mailto:?body=I%20thought%20you%20might%20enjoy%20reading%20this%20article%0A%0Ahttps%3A%2F%2Fblog.hawaiiantel.com%2Fconnections%2Flast-chance-hawaiian-telcom-x-david-shepard-collaboration&subject=Check%20out%20the%20latest%20news%20from%20Hawaiian%20Telcom) ### Trending 1[When the Storm Hits, Fiber Stays Strong](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/when-the-storm-hits-fiber-stays-strong) 2[Fiber-Optics Key to Digital Resilience](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/fiber-optics-key-to-digital-resilience) 3[Hawaiian Telcom’s Summer of Community Connection](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/hawaiian-telcoms-summer-of-community-connection) 4[Fiber-optic cables help with leak detection](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/fiber-optic-cables-help-with-leak-detection) 5[Peace of Mind for Condo Residents Starts with Fiber-Optics](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/peace-of-mind-for-condo-residents-starts-with-fiber-optics) #### Other Related Articles [![](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/hubfs/Q3August%202026.png)](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/hawaiian-telcoms-summer-of-community-connection) [Events](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/tag/type-events) [Hawaiian Telcom’s Summer of Community Connection](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/hawaiian-telcoms-summer-of-community-connection) [![](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/hubfs/2500x1251%20Food%20Drive.png)](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/support-hawaiʻi-foodbanks-food-drive-day-at-hawaiian-telcom) [Events](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/tag/type-events) [Support Hawaiʻi Foodbank’s Food Drive Day at Hawaiian Telcom](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/support-hawaiʻi-foodbanks-food-drive-day-at-hawaiian-telcom) [![](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/hubfs/MIH%20Blog.png)](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/hawaiian-telcom-brings-fioptics-fun-to-the-made-in-hawaiʻi-festival) [Events](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/tag/type-events) [Hawaiian Telcom Brings Fioptics Fun to the Made in Hawaiʻi Festival](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/hawaiian-telcom-brings-fioptics-fun-to-the-made-in-hawaiʻi-festival) [![](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/hubfs/July%202026%20(2).png)](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/connect-hawaii-featured-business-july-2026) [Connect Hawai'i Featured Business: July 2026](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/connect-hawaii-featured-business-july-2026) [![](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/hubfs/2500X1251%20Hele%20Rolls.png)](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/hele-rolls-brings-fresh-baked-favorites-to-hawaiian-telcom) [Events](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/tag/type-events) [Hele Rolls Brings Fresh-Baked Favorites to Hawaiian Telcom](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/hele-rolls-brings-fresh-baked-favorites-to-hawaiian-telcom) [![](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/hubfs/Back%20to%20School%202500x1251-1.png)](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/get-back-to-school-ready-with-bujo-bae-and-hawaiian-telcom) [Events](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/tag/type-events) [Get Back-to-School Ready with Bujo Bae and Hawaiian Telcom](https://blog.hawaiiantel.com/connections/get-back-to-school-ready-with-bujo-bae-and-hawaiian-telcom) Get recent posts straight to your inbox. © 2026 Hawaiian Telcom.
